Lionel Scharly, AIA
Scharly is a
Designer/Architect living & working in New York City.
Award-Winning in Design and Architecture for his innovations, he
has developed and patented new technology to give birth to the first
eco-friendly and bio-plastic materials for the rotocasting process, and create
a new design and aesthetic for this Green manufacturing solution.
Scharly engages his career in Industrial & Architectural
design, and built up ScharlyDesigner Studio in 2007.
He focus his projects for Urban Design, Brands, Retails and
Residentials projects as:
Dior, Estée Lauder, Vichy, L'Oreal, LVMH, Quai d'Orsay, Marie de
Paris, Built/NYC "NYCEDC".
He expresses his creativity to design new lifestyle to
ecofriendly modular construction solutions, from Townhouse to Building, and
develops Intelligent Street Furniture, Wind-Turbine for the Smart cities.
His furniture projects, and Architecture process get
design-patents, are worldwide exhibited and awards-winning.
He is a member of the Le Lieu du Design & APCI in France
& member of Architectural League of New York, and the American Institute of
Architects "AIA New York Chapter - Design Excellence"
Rachel Scharly
Rachel is an Urban Sociologist, she was born and grew up in
Provence, today she lives & works in New York City.
She has a Master Degree in Sociology and Anthropology, and
specialized in Environment, at the University of Provence "Aix en Provence
/Marseille".
In Marseille she has collaborated with the Environment Bureau of European Commission and worked on the impact of Green and Bio politics on the environment in France.

She has integrated a Patronal Organization where she ran files
on the Environment-Solutions.
Rachel joined Scharly
Designer Studio as Partner in
2008.
Since she runs social trends for the Studio and the Design &
Architecture clients’ project, and works on the sustainable mobility
human-oriented on the Green City.
She analyze and provide solutions to follow the Cities and
switch them to City 2.0.
